Indian Cultural Nite 2010

ICN for short.

ICN was held last Saturday and being money-minded we are lol, SSIL took this opportunity to sell food & drinks that night to earn some income for the board *pat on back*
So we sold bubble tea and Baba of Curry puff :D

1 for RM1.50. 3 for RM4.00. Come come! Buy! Buy!

RM3.50 with pearl! RM3.00 without pearl!

Indians have always produce wonderful 'kolam' that makes you go googoo gaagaa.
No, it's not the pond. It's KO~LAM~~~~
As in this,

this,

and this.

"Kolam is a form of sandpainting that is drawn using rice powder by female members of the family in front of their home. It is widely practised by Hindus in South India. A Kolam is a sort of painted prayer — a line drawing composed of curved loops, drawn around a grid pattern of dots."

We are 1 Malaysia right?
Of course when we have functions in school , we attend them regardless of skin color to show our support to them!
Even if there are mountains of homework awaiting us back at our room.

Not only that, ICN was even joined by 'angmohs' (mat salleh aka foreigners)!

Here were just some of the performances on that day.

Not forgetting our President on a very, serious, important 'duty' on that day:

With beautiful receptionists to welcome guests that night =)

The saris are just superbly beautiful =D
