How to De-Stress in UMSKAL/ Labuan

1. Put on your earphones (if dont have can borrow from your friends) and blast the music until you cant hear the external noises. Of course, put some slow songs or motivation songs like Kanye West's Stronger, Jordin Sparks' One Step At A Time, Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway or Siti Nurhaliza's Seindah Biasa. We're not asking you to turn on songs like Linkin Park's New Divide. We wouldnt want you to lose your hearing after that ^^''' Just take a moment and listen to the lyrics =)




2. Sing your heart out!!! That could be done by putting on your earphones and blast the music then sing because you cant hear yourself. It doesnt matter if you sing out of tune or get the lyrics all wrong, we just want you for once,let everything out! :D
Or if you're so afraid of embarrassing yourself, that's ok. Just blast your speakers and sing! Works just as well *wink wink*


3. DANCE DANCE DANCE! In your room or wherever you feel like it! Dance to that pop tune or the 70's 'Saturday Night Fever'. Just shake, twist, or just plain moving from side to side and bobbing your head up and down. Get your friends to dance too! Have FUN!!!


4. If you think dancing alone wont work, then go for exercise!
I know, some of you will say "Lazy lah"...

BUT!!!
But exercise make you healthy and more active, more focused! 'Badan sihat, otak cergas', my friend? Exercise makes you inhale more oxygen which the brain needs to keep it active and alive. If your brain doesnt have enough oxygen supply, you will yawn and this will make you feel tired and sleepy.

5. Talk to your friends. Talk to your family. Do not keep everything inside. This is part of the reason why people feel stressed all the time. You need to TALK!!!! The listener might doesnt understand your situation but hell, at least you get everything out of your chest. It's a huge relief! ;)



6. Get enough rest my friends. I know I know.
"Monday need to pass up two assignments."
"Tuesday I got midterm."
"Wednesday I got 3 quizzes."
"Thursay I got 2 meetings."
"Friday I need to go town to get some things done."
"Saturday I need to go dating."
"Sunday I need to do everything that you said above." LOL

Of course in order to do ALL the things you have in your packed schedule, you need to recharge your battery. Sleep when you feel tired. Take a break when you think you cant go on anymore.
There's always time for everything else.

But of course dont do last minute work lah.


7. FACEBOOK! *evil laugh
upload this picture, upload that picture. Shoutout this, shoutout that. Post this, post that. Comment here, comment there. Shoutout again. Eh this profile picture not nice lah. Wana change lah.

8. A good meal brightens up your mood. Go out and have a good meal once in a while to boost your mood. If you feel like cooking, go ahead! Although it's a bit tough at critical no-water times like this hehe ^^'''


9. Learn to say no!
NO. TAK MAU. 不要. नहीं. لا. いいえ.
You're not Superman/ Superwoman. Sure, I know you can multi-task. Not until you can do 10 things at a time Im sure. Work within your limits. Do not overload yourself. It's not good for your health, mind and body.
So, the next time you think of something you ought to do or someone else suggests you should do, take a breath and ask yourself if it's something you want to do.
When you say no to things you don't care to do, you are saying yes to you and this will free up your time and energy for the things you choose to do. Bottom line - you'll be happier.


10. Last but not least...LAUGH! SMILE! Lights up the mood of the day!
Laugh if you fall flat on your butt. It happens to everyone.
Smile when you think of something silly. It's your secret that no one knows but you ;)
Laugh out loud on a joke you hear.
Smile from ear to ear when you pose for camera.




Even if you have 2 teeth missing XD lol
